Under the leadership of President Syabil Adham, the band prepared to ensure each song resonated with the audience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cOur preparation began with careful song selection because we wanted pieces that were meaningful, reflected the mood of the convocation, and could connect with everyone in the hall,\u201d said Syabil. They looked for music that was respectful and capable of capturing the essence of the convocation. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The performance itself was an unforgettable experience. \u201cIt was fantastic performing in the hall, seeing graduates in their robes and the proud faces of their families,&#8221; Syabil shared. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The energy of the audience, combined with the sense of accomplishment and celebration, reinforced the band\u2019s belief in the ability of music to inspire and bring people together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the convocation, the band performed several carefully chosen songs, including &#8216;Hero&#8217; by Mariah Carey, &#8216;Standing in the Eyes of the World&#8217; by Ella , &#8216;Memori Tercipta&#8217; by Shila Amzah, &#8216;Ayah dan Ibu&#8217; by Dato&#8217; Sudirman bin Haji Arshad and other meaningful songs.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full is-resized\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"828\" height=\"634\" src=\"https:\/\/news.iium.edu.my\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/iab-25.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-186527\" style=\"width:506px;height:auto\" srcset=\"https:\/\/news.iium.edu.my\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/iab-25.jpg 828w, https:\/\/news.iium.edu.my\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/iab-25-300x230.jpg 300w, https:\/\/news.iium.edu.my\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/iab-25-768x588.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 828px) 100vw, 828px\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\"><strong>Vocalist from IIUM Accoustic Band singing the song<\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p>When asked about their favorite performance, Syabil highlighted &#8216;Memori Tercipta&#8217; because he said that song brings nostalgic moments to graduates to remind them about their friendship and memories.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Meanwhile, fellow performer Syafiqah Dania noted that &#8216;Ayah dan Ibu &#8216;was a highlight for her. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s always one of the most anticipated songs at convocation.
