GOMBAK, 29 October 2024: The thrilling yet vibrant KAED Pop Run was finally held on Saturday morning, 26 October 2024 in conjunction with Orange Ribbon Month that raises awareness on Attention-Deficit \/ Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). The fun run started and ended at IIUM’s Kulliyyah of Architecture and Environmental Design (KAED) parking lot as the participants ran through the IIUM main road for three kilometres.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The tagline of the fun run was, \u201cEvery Step Pops with Energy\u201d. For quick reference, the participants were provided with a bubble gun as a part of the fun run.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A burst of excitement filled the KAED parking lot as the participants registered before the event began.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After the emcees welcomed the participants, the event continued with a speech by the Dean of KAED, Prof. Ar. Dr. Abdul Razak Bin Sapian.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Next, the event proceeded with a warm-up session which was led by Adventure and Recreational Club (ARC) members, Ahmad Najwan Jamli, Ahmad Isyraf Haziq Zulkefli and Muhammad Mifdzal Mohammad Norzal.<\/p>\n\n\n

The fun run began as the flag was waved at the starting line.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After the fun run ended, Danial ‘Abqari, the programme manager of KAEDFEST 24, gave a brief remark and thanked the collaborators, IIUM Alumni Relations Division, International Psychology Centre (IPC) Malaysia and WellLab Malaysia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event ended with a photography session.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

KAED Pop Run was one of the programmes organised during the annual festival, KAEDFEST. The festival was organised by KAED at IIUM Gombak from 23 to 27 October 2024. The fun run was participated by students, alumni members and their family members***<\/p>\n\n\n\n
