GOMBAK, 12 MAY 2023: On 4 May 2023, the Terengganu Students Association, or renowned as PERMATA (Persatuan Mahasiswa Terengganu<\/em>) held an event called Lantera Aidilfitri PERMATA to celebrate the joyous moment of Eid al-Fitr for Terengganu students, lecturers and staffs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event was participated by 70 students from Terengganu states who come from different Kulliyyahs and backgrounds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition, the celebration was attended by the Deputy of Terengganu State Executive Councillor, Yang Berhormat Ustaz Hishamuddin bin Abdul Karim, who is also the patron of PERMATA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In his officiating speech, he said that students shall take the opportunity of the Eid celebration as a medium to strengthen the bond between Muslims from different states and countries. He advised students to keep striving for the betterment of their lives, especially in academics as it is the main purpose of a student.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The Virtuous from IIUM Nasyeed Club said that \u0153It is a wonderful experience to perform in the event after a month of not performing in Ramadan. We can feel the excitement as a performer and participant.\u009d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    They also shared that it is a great start for them in preparing for two upcoming nasheed competitions in Thailand and Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris, UPSI.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Fatimah Idayu mentioned, \u0153It feels like home, we are comfortable speaking with each other in the same accent while getting to know one another and enjoying delicious food.\u009d She is also delighted to join more programmes from PERMATA in the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \u0153For me, the event is a success as I can see that the students are enjoying the celebration and the committees are helping one another to make it work,\u009d said Programme Manager, Thalhah Uibaidillah.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Assistant Programme Manager, Puteri Nur Aieshah shared her satisfaction as the event successfully became the channel to build the relationship between Terengganu students.
