{"id":170290,"date":"2022-12-02T02:39:25","date_gmt":"2022-12-02T02:39:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/news.iium.edu.my\/?p=170290"},"modified":"2022-12-02T02:39:53","modified_gmt":"2022-12-02T02:39:53","slug":"final-checklist-before-38th-iium-convocation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/news.iium.edu.my\/?p=170290","title":{"rendered":"Final checklist before 38th IIUM Convocation"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p> <strong><em>By Sarah Nur Safiyyah <\/em><\/strong>  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>GOMBAK, 2 December 2022: The IIUM 38th Convocation which will begin in three days, from 3 &#8211; 7 December 2022, will gather all graduands to mark the end of their journey as students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, the graduands are reminded to fulfil several checklists such as paying their convocation fees and others as issued by the finance division. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The convocation ceremony, which will be held at the Main Hall, IIUM Cultural Centre (ICC), further detailed out specific procedures that should be adhered: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>1) Seating<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>All graduating students must assemble at Entrance 11, IIUM Cultural Centre (ICC)<\/li><li>Check seat number and mark attendance by scanning the provided QR Codes<\/li><li>Once arrives at the hall, proceed to assigned seat number<\/li><li>Wear mask throughout the ceremony<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>2) Procession<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Graduands are encouraged to review the following protocols to ensure a smooth convocation process:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>Queue to receive the scroll<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Wait to be escorted outside the building and the multimedia card should be brought to the stage.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>&nbsp;<\/em><\/strong><strong><em> <\/em><\/strong><strong><em>Verify the Authenticity of the multimedia card<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Examine it to ensure the multimedia card operates in the intended area. If everything is well, proceed to the stage.
