GOMBAK, 13 October 2022: A mechatronics engineering student, Muhammad Fareez Iqmal, made history with the launch of an IIUM schedule maker application, IIUM Schedule App, on 10th October 2022 (Monday). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

IIUM Schedule Maker App is a handy application exclusively made for IIUM students to create their schedules effortlessly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In an interview with IIUMToday, Muhammad Fareez said its ability to generate a complete and ideal schedule with minimal effort contrasts it with existing ones like ClassUp and Schedule Builder.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Muhammad Fareez explained that, “I prefer something straightforward, like generating the timetable directly from Imaalum. Unfortunately, that kind of feature is not available so I have no choice but to build one myself.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“For other schedule maker apps, users need to key in all particulars in every subject, including the course name, course code, section, venue, day, and time,” he added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Optionally, they would also include the lecturer’s name or any other information in the schedule, which is “impractical and time-consuming,” he explained. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, with IIUM Schedule Maker App, students will only need to fill in the course code and section for it to automatically fill up other information such as venue and lecturers’ names. The process can be done with fewer clicks, thus improving productivity. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
