Prof. Dr. Siti Rafiah binti Abdul Hamid shared the benefits of forgiveness, which she said, is a positive shift in human reactions and emotions where humans become more empathetic, compassionate, and happy as a result of their interactions with one another.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u0153Moreover, seeking forgiveness is easy if coming from the bottom of the heart and it can bring about peace to someone, though forgetting is a tough thing,&#8221; she added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u0153If we constantly seek forgiveness and forgive others, we will be able to eliminate jealousy, anger, and envy,\u009d she noted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She highlighted that &#8220;the apologising practice is a requirement of Islam&#8221;, acknowledging that &#8220;Islam teaches us to always think with our <em>aqal <\/em>and utter good words when communicating with one another\u009d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u0153Islam recognises that humans are flawed and that we will make mistakes in which only Allah alone is the Most Merciful and Forgiving,&#8221;
