{"id":158577,"date":"2021-11-09T09:50:22","date_gmt":"2021-11-09T09:50:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/news.iium.edu.my\/?p=158577"},"modified":"2021-11-09T09:50:26","modified_gmt":"2021-11-09T09:50:26","slug":"students-to-learn-how-to-familiarise-themselves-with-eq-skills","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/news.iium.edu.my\/?p=158577","title":{"rendered":"Students to learn how to familiarise themselves with EQ skills"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong><em>By Ariani Mohd Nor<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>GOMBAK, 9 November 2021: A survey by CareerBuilder, a recruitment website, found that almost 75 per cent recruiters have suggested that Emotional Quotient (EQ) skills are more valued than their Intelligence Quotient (IQ) skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To help interns familiarise with their EQs and how they can apply them to create professional relationships in the workplace, the Practical Training Class (COMM 4995) Section 2 will be hosting a webinar titled \u0153EQ at Work: Managing Professional Relationships.\u009d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The webinar will invite Mr. Koh Mui Han, an EQ expert and principal consultant at Change Dynamics to share his thoughts and knowledge. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Students will not only get to acquaint themselves with workplace relationship ethics, but will also be given the chance to have a session with a renowned expert in the industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This event will be held on Thursday (11 November) at 8.30 p.m. via Zoom Meetings.
