{"id":15650,"date":"2014-08-11T09:30:09","date_gmt":"2014-08-11T01:30:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/news.iium.edu.my\/?p=15650"},"modified":"2014-08-12T12:51:51","modified_gmt":"2014-08-12T04:51:51","slug":"international-seminar-on-islamic-advertising-2014","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/news.iium.edu.my\/?p=15650","title":{"rendered":"International Seminar on Islamic Advertising 2014"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><em>By<\/em> Shawal Ras<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>GOMBAK: An International Seminar on Islamic Advertising 2014 under the theme &#8216;Advertising with a Conscience&#8217; will be held from September 26 (8.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.) to 27 (8.30am to 5.00pm) in the Senate Hall, IIUM.<\/p>\n<p>Organised by the Department of Communication, Kulliyyah of Islamic Revealed Knowledge and Human Sciences (KIRKHS), in collaboration with Centre for Islamisation (CENTRIS), the seminar will be discussing Islamic advertising in theory and practice, on an intellectual platform.<\/p>\n<p>The seminar is aimed to bring together academicians, advertisers and advertising practitioners, regulators, media practitioners, students and those interested in Islamic advertising.<\/p>\n<p>For those intending to attend the seminar, the early bird rate is MYR450 (for non-students until 14 August 2014) and MYR300 (for students also until 14 August 2014). From 15 August 2014 until 27 September 2014, participants will be charged a payment of MYR500 (non-student) or MYR350 (student).<\/p>\n<p>All participants can make their payments through bank transfer or to the committee in person on the first day of the seminar.
