{"id":146917,"date":"2020-12-24T13:39:18","date_gmt":"2020-12-24T13:39:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/news.iium.edu.my\/?p=146917"},"modified":"2020-12-24T22:28:44","modified_gmt":"2020-12-24T22:28:44","slug":"anas-hayyan-new-unofficial-president-of-the-irkhs-students-society","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/news.iium.edu.my\/?p=146917","title":{"rendered":"Anas Hayyan \u201c New unofficial President of the IRKHS Students Society"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong><em>By Iylia Marsya Iskandar<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>GOMBAK, 24 December 2020: A total of 1,499 students have exercised their democratic rights voting in Anas Hayyan with the highest votes at the Presidential seat of the Islamic Revealed Knowledge Students Society (IRKHSSS) General Election 20\/21 earlier today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Anas, a candidate from the Department of Political Science, won the poll by securing 1,082 votes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Election Commission emphasised that this is an unofficial announcement and the official position will be announced at the IRKHSSS Annual Grand Meeting.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Joining Anas in the new mainboard line-up are as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>President \u201c Anas Hayyan (1,082 votes)<\/li><li>Vice President 1 \u201c Dayini Shaik (788 votes)<\/li><li>Vice President 2 \u201c Fakhruddin Razak (767 votes)<\/li><li>Secretary General \u201c Amni Lutfi (837 votes)<\/li><li>Secretary 2 \u201c Nazifah Ibrahim (621 votes)<\/li><li>Honorary Treasurer \u201c Amirah Yasmin (851 votes)<\/li><li>Treasurer 2 \u201c Aliff Naif (607 votes)<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The election counting process which ended at 8.40 p.m concluded with closing remarks by the new President, Anas Hayyan.
