was held on Sunday night (29 November) where the panelists discussed the criteria of a competent student representative and the meaning of competency in leadership.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Organised by IIUM Student Union Election Commission (IIUMSUEC), the discussion was moderated by the KBS representative of IIUM Student Union Election Commission, Mirza Batrisyia.\u00c2\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The President of IIUM Student Union Protem Committee Kuantan, Muhammad Anwar Mohd Nor told the session that &#8220;a competent leader should be futuristic and realistic at the same time, a good listener and emotionally-wise person.&#8221;\u00c2\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The same question was then answered by the Exco (PR &amp; Advocacy) in IIUMSU, Farida Hanim Bukhari when she said that a leader should place himself or herself in others shoes to know what the students want.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Meanwhile, Mohamad Ika Danial Abdullah, IIUMSU&#8217;s Exco (Education) said that an intention also plays a role in student leadership. \u0153This is the symbol of your attitude on the future;
