Malaysian astronaut Dr. Sheikh Muszaphar Shukor showed Malaysians the true meaning of humbleness when he uploaded a photo of himself as a food rider during this movement control (MCO) period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr. Sheikh Muszaphar revealed that he is one of the co-owners of Rebung, <\/em>an esteemed restaurant in Kuala Lumpur that specialises in authentic Malay food and has been delivering food to customers since mid-April. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The restaurant, Rebung<\/em>, is an esteemed 17-year-old establishment in Kuala Lumpur that specialises in authentic Negeri Sembilan Malay food.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Co-owned with famous Chef Ismail, Dr. Sheikh Muszaphar has overseen Rebung’s rise to become a culinary giant, with 80 employees and a buffet of awards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He reminisces back on the days when the restaurant just starting out, saying \u0153I remember going to Pasar Borong Selayang at 4 a.m during those days, buying fresh seafood everyday for the first six months during our start up.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I remember sending lemang, rendang, and dodol in the wee hours of Raya morning for the past two years. Those were the days.\u009d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr. Sheikh Muszaphar, who is an orthopaedic surgeon by training, explained that since the restaurant reopened, he decided to personally deliver food to customers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the photo he uploaded dated in 22 April, he also shared, \u0153We (reopened) again last week during this MCO and I personally put my feet on the ground to deliver food. It’s the best.\u009d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Many netizens were impressed by the astronaut’s humility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One Twitter user wrote: “He’s been my idol since I was a kid. Now he’s also a delivery man. Nice one, boss. He’s truly a humble person.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“He’s not picky about work. Even though he could just stay at home\nthe whole day, he decided to participate. Good job to our astronaut,” said\nanother netizen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Another person commented, “Isn’t he so humble? I love reading the captions on his posts. Sometimes I feel so motivated after stalking his Instagram. An idol.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
