GOMBAK, 25 March 2020: It’s time for another “Career Centre of the Year” voting for the Graduates’ Choice Award (GCA), but this time students are not only going to vote but they also stand a chance to win some cool gadgets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

GCA is an award of the highest distinction that gives recognition to outstanding organisations which demonstrate exceptional employer branding within universities across Malaysia organised by TALENTBANK.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Established since 2011, TALENTBANK has produced many programmes for graduates such as Talentbank Career Fair, Talentbank Digital Career Fair, Career Discovery Centre and National Graduate Recruitment Conference. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The programmes have benefited many graduates as a medium that provide opportunities for future graduates to shape their career path. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Graduates’ Choice Award is among the TALENTBANK’s brand. It is Malaysias most authoritative campus-employer branding award that is 100% voted by university students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Award is supported by Malaysian Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC), Ministry of Education, Ministry of Human Resources, Career Development Centre Club Malaysia and Department of Polytechnic and Community College. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2019, over 28,000 graduates of which 55% from Klang Valley and 45% from other states, have made their selections over a seven-month period. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

To ensure a fair selection process, the audit checkpoint is being carried out by 15 board members from various universities in assessing the results.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For GCA 2020, TALENTBANK has launched a new award category called Special Award: Most Resourceful Career Centre Award, and IIUM Career Services Centre has been nominated for the said category. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2018, IIUM Career Services Centre won “Career Centre of the Year Award” and was listed as top three in the following year in the same category. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Students will have a chance to win the following gadgets if they participate in the voting for this year’s award:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
