The thing is 90% of it comes from you! I know it is scary to head out there and look for a camera. There are so many brands, types and pixel size to consider.<\/p>\n<p>So, let&#8217;s make it simple!<\/p>\n<p>First, note down what you want the camera for. Nature? Events? Portraits? Write &#8217;em down. Then set yourself a budget. Trust me, losing your money to something that are not worth it is really frustrating.<\/p>\n<p>Secondly, remember that camera technology moves a lot faster than computer technology. So, an out of date camera is not to be worried. Remember, a good picture has no expiration date.<\/p>\n<p>Thirdly, do not fret too much about pixels. If your pictures are just for your Tumblr, then you don&#8217;t need &#8217;em to be incredibly high-res.<\/p>\n<p>Plus, digital compact cameras have come a long way: they&#8217;re more effective, easy to use, convenient, and pretty cheap, too. Today&#8217;s ranges are almost a full match to SLR cameras. With that being said, check out Sony, Nikon, Panasonic, and Canon.<\/p>\n<p>And lastly, there&#8217;s really no need to be professional at the moment. Start easy and try one of the entry level models, ideally, with basic lens, then add a few spare memory cards and batteries &#8211; you&#8217;re ready for your first photo shoot!<\/p>\n<p>My advice: learn how your camera works by taking all types of pictures in different angles, lighting situations, and styles.
