KUALA LUMPUR, 28 November 2019: IIUM Mustangs PUBG won approximately RM8,000 in total for their success in achieving second place overall for Grand Finale Celcom XPAX Campus E-Sports Championship last weekend (23-24 November).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Organised by Media Prima Digital, My Game On and KITAMEN, the winners ranging from first to final year students competed against 40 other institutions at The Curve, Mutiara Damansara.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Asked on the preparation of the team, Nurul Syahirah said, \u0153We trained together every weekend to improve our chemistry and roles in playing together.\u009d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

IIUM Mustangs E-Sports also sent out Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) players from Kuantan campus who managed to succeed in the grouping stage of the Grand Finale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u0153We did not expect this success,\u009d Syahirah added. \u0153We only tried our luck and Alhamdulillah, we won second place overall.\u009d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

IIUM Mustangs E-Sports will also be competing in Majlis Sukan Universiti Malaysia<\/em> (MASUM) 2019 next month for Pro Evolution Soccer (PES), DOTA, and MLBB.***<\/p>\n\n\n\n
