{"id":130855,"date":"2019-07-24T15:06:32","date_gmt":"2019-07-24T15:06:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/news.iium.edu.my\/?p=130855"},"modified":"2019-07-24T17:07:45","modified_gmt":"2019-07-24T17:07:45","slug":"takrim-a-symbol-of-togetherness","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/news.iium.edu.my\/?p=130855","title":{"rendered":"Takrim 2019 a symbol of togetherness"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong><em>By Farzana Zahra<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"text-align:left\">GOMBAK, 24 July 2019: \u0153The whole idea of Takrim Day this year is to celebrate togetherness in terms of our success,\u009d Prof. Emeritus Tan Sri Dato&#8217; Dzulkifli Abdul Razak said today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u0153The university also tried to give awards to as many staff as possible to recognise their effort so they can work as a team,\u009d the Rector added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Takrim Day 2019 focused on participation where everybody could work together towards the development of the university. &#8220;It is also the time where the staff can demonstrate what they have contribute to the university,&#8221; he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Takrim Day (or previously known as Quality day) started on 22 July (Monday) and ended on Wednesday (24 July) with the award giving ceremony. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Asked on the change from Quality Day to Takrim Day,  Tan Sri Dzulkifli said, &#8220;Quality only focuses on quality and not participation.
