{"id":125634,"date":"2018-10-22T15:00:52","date_gmt":"2018-10-22T07:00:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/news.iium.edu.my\/?p=125634"},"modified":"2018-10-22T13:38:52","modified_gmt":"2018-10-22T05:38:52","slug":"gpms-mission-to-cambodia-to-help-with-pre-school-facilities","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/news.iium.edu.my\/?p=125634","title":{"rendered":"GPMS mission to Cambodia to help with pre-school facilities"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em><strong>By Liana Zulkifli<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>GOMBAK, 22 October 2018: Gabungan Pelajar Melayu Semenanjung Club (GPMS) is determined to organise a humanitarian volunteerism programme in Cambodia for the third time this year with the targeted sponsorship of RM15,000 ultimately by next week.<\/p>\n<p>The mission known as \u02dcMisi Tautan Kasih Kemboja will be held in mid-semester break for one week aimed to improvise pre-school facilities there with participation of eight volunteers who had been selected to be led by a mentor.<\/p>\n<p>With the tagline &#8220;Their smile, a Thousand Meaning for us\u009d they are encouraging the IIUM community to be concerned about education facilities there through three donation packages, which included stationery, books, and tables.<\/p>\n<p>Those sincerely wanting to make contributions to the programme may do so through Maybank account number: 164061801379 (Siti Nur Syaza Aisyah) or follow the official Instagram: @MISICAMBODIA.<\/p>\n<p>GPMS is a federation for Peninsular Malaysia students.
