{"id":121597,"date":"2018-05-24T07:48:00","date_gmt":"2018-05-23T23:48:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/news.iium.edu.my\/?p=121597"},"modified":"2018-05-24T11:03:09","modified_gmt":"2018-05-24T03:03:09","slug":"ramadan-a-blessed-month-to-tahsin-al-quran-recitation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/news.iium.edu.my\/?p=121597","title":{"rendered":"Ramadan, a blessed month to \u02dcTahsin Al-Quran recitation"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong><em>By Liana Zulkifli <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">GOMBAK, 24 May 2018<strong>:<\/strong> Inspired by the blessings of Ramadan with the ten times&#8217; rewards for every good deed performed, the Imaratul Masjid Society is conducting a Tahsin Al-Quran programme called\u00c2\u00a0<em>Complete the Incomplete<\/em>\u00c2\u00a0from 21 to 25 May, and <em>Quran Hour <\/em>scheduled on 7 June, at the Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah (SHAS) Mosque, IIUM Gombak.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">As part of the Ihya Ramadan programme, the aim is to give a chance for believers to enlighten the mosque with the spirit of the Al-Quran and to encourage the people to keep engaged with the mosque.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">The president of the i-Masjid, Mohamad Izzuddin Mohamad Rafi, said, \u0153This is one of our responsibilities to encourage Muslims to be closer with the mosque and to motivate them to recite and understand the Al-Quran, which was revealed during this holy month of Ramadan, besides the rewards which are countless.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">One of the committee members, Nur Amalina Mohd. Yusof reminded, \u0153It is important for Muslims to have high fluency in <em>tilawah<\/em> because it will help us read the Quran consistently as our life and the Al-Quran could not be separated.\u009d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">According to Izzuddin, the participants will be guided by the i-Masjid mainboard community of the Ihya Ramadan programme and the staff of SHAS Mosque.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">\u0153Iftar will be provided everyday, and\u00c2\u00a0<em>sahur<\/em> on weekend and last 10 days of Ramadan.
