{"id":118445,"date":"2017-11-16T08:00:23","date_gmt":"2017-11-16T00:00:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/news.iium.edu.my\/?p=118445"},"modified":"2018-03-15T13:53:11","modified_gmt":"2018-03-15T05:53:11","slug":"iium-students-attend-mega-career-fair","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/news.iium.edu.my\/?p=118445","title":{"rendered":"IIUM students attend mega Career Fair"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em><strong>By Sidra Ahmed<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>GOMBAK, 16<sup>\u00c2\u00a0<\/sup>November 2017 -\u00c2\u00a0 Around 15 to 20 IIUM students had the opportunity to attend Career Fair held at Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre on 11\u00c2\u00a0and 12 November from 11 am until 7 pm.<\/p>\n<p>The Fair was conducted by mystarjob.com aimed at providing better solutions and innovative and diversifying career options for interns and fresh graduates.<\/p>\n<p>The Career Fair saw participants from about 50 companies including Honda, SP Setia, Teledirect Telecommerce, Eco world, Arvato, Worldwide Holdings Bhd and Malaysian Institute of Technology Academy.<\/p>\n<p>The expo was inclusive of career talks and psychometric test. Participants even got their resume checked at the fair.<\/p>\n<p>\u0153It was a great day for me as I could gain new insights into the opportunities available for me in the job market.
