{"id":118024,"date":"2017-11-04T21:59:04","date_gmt":"2017-11-04T13:59:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/news.iium.edu.my\/?p=118024"},"modified":"2017-11-05T20:56:57","modified_gmt":"2017-11-05T12:56:57","slug":"pentas-dakwah-ends-with-huge-support-from-iium-community","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/news.iium.edu.my\/?p=118024","title":{"rendered":"Pentas Dakwah ends with huge support from IIUM community"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify; margin: 0cm 0cm 10.0pt 0cm;\"><i><\/i><em><strong>By Nadhira Balqist Masran<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 10pt; text-align: left;\">GOMBAK, 4 November 2017 &#8211; After rounds of fierce competition, Nurul Syazana Khairul Anuar was finally announced the winner of Pentas Dakwah on Thursday (2 November) at Moot Court, Ahmad Ibrahim Kulliyyah of Law (AIKOL).<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 10pt;\">Syazana, who is from Kulliyyah of Islamic Revealed Knowledge and Human Sciences (KIRKHS), said that the competition has definitely provided a training ground for participants who aspire to become preachers later on.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 10pt;\">&#8220;Pentas Dakwah\u00c2\u00a0is a\u00c2\u00a0stepping stone for us or anyone who want to continue preaching in the future,&#8221;\u00c2\u00a0she said.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 10pt;\">The final stage of Pentas Dakwah kicked off with the theme &#8220;Islam is the Way of Life&#8221;, witnessing six participants proving their own points in their presentations. The second round got trickier as the finalists were required to pick a random envelope containing a question that they would have to answer spontaneously.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 10pt;\">First runner-up of the competition, Wan Muhammad Hafiz Wan Zin admitted that the final stage was &#8220;tougher&#8221; than the semi-final round.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 10pt;\">&#8220;I am really grateful for the winning and the competition has really encouraged students to be involved in spreading the teachings of the Prophet.
