{"id":116944,"date":"2017-09-28T09:54:33","date_gmt":"2017-09-28T01:54:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/news.iium.edu.my\/?p=116944"},"modified":"2017-09-28T10:02:34","modified_gmt":"2017-09-28T02:02:34","slug":"indonesian-carnival-to-popularise-arts-culture","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/news.iium.edu.my\/?p=116944","title":{"rendered":"Indonesian Carnival to popularise Arts &#038; Culture"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><em>By Alis Nerindo<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>GOMBAK, 28 September 2017 &#8211; \u00c2\u00a0The campus community will have a chance to participate in the &#8216;Indonesian Carnival which will be held today from 12.40 p.m to 2.00 p.m from Aikols Moot Court to the Azman Hashim building.<\/p>\n<p>Organised by the Indonesian Association of IIUM (PPI-IIUM) in conjunction with \u02dcIndonesian Day, the programme during the event would include an <em>angklung<\/em> performance and a flash mob.<\/p>\n<p>Coordinator of \u00c2\u00a0&#8216;Indonesian Carnival, Sarah Putri, stated that the objective of this programme is to introduce traditional clothing and arts from Indonesia.
