{"id":106911,"date":"2016-04-26T10:00:37","date_gmt":"2016-04-26T02:00:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/news.iium.edu.my\/?p=106911"},"modified":"2016-04-24T17:03:45","modified_gmt":"2016-04-24T09:03:45","slug":"psycsta-organises-movie-night-for-charity","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/news.iium.edu.my\/?p=106911","title":{"rendered":"PSYCSTA organises &#8216;Movie Night&#8217; for charity"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><em>By Syakir Nizam<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>GOMBAK, 22 April 2016: The Student Affairs Bureau of Psychology Students&#8217; Association (PSYCSTA) of International Islamic University of Malaysia (IIUM) recently organised a programme entitled &#8216;Movie Night Watch&#8217; where the latest movie &#8216;Good Dinosaur&#8217; was shown to about 50 audiences who attended the event.<\/p>\n<p>This movie had also been reviewed by Elok Vradizza Feni, a second-year postgraduate Psychological Clinical and Counselling student.<\/p>\n<p>Programme manager, Nurul Fartinah stated that &#8220;the objective of this programme was to enhance the understanding of the non- psychology students about psychology&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>She added: &#8220;This programme is also intended to raise funds for our charity that will be donated to one of our links, <em>Pertubuhan Kasih Murni.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<p>One member of the audience, Fazlin Mahrus said: &#8220;This movie was very heart-warming. I felt homesick because he was separated from his family and I also felt sad because he needs to be apart from his friends at the end of the movie.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>This political science student also said that this movie contained many lessons that we can learn such as friendship, loyalty, loving and hardworking&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>The Good Dinosaur was shown on 11 November 2015 at cinemas around the world.
