I COMMEND Datuk Dr Dionysius Sharma for highlighting the need to preserve the natural water quality of our river systems (œSustainability of water resources under threat from pollution ” NST, Sept 25). It extends the threat posed by human population growth to beyond that capable of being supported by the earths diminishing food and natural resources.
