GOMBAK, 26 August 2015: The Centre for International Islamic Culture (CiTRA) will be organising “The Colour of Life” event on 14 and 15 September this year.
CiTRA, a department that has developed students musical and art skills will promote the clubs that are under their supervision through that upcoming event. Some 14 clubs are waiting for you guys on “The Colour of Life” event. They are, 10 musical clubs, one art performing club and three international filming clubs.
“The Colour of Life” known previously as “CiTRA Open Day”, will be highly related to the culture of the Malays and at the same time, the performances will be in line with the Syariah compliance. It is a manifestation of Islamic culture and arts performance. As one of the departments under IIUM, CiTRA is trying to incorporate both entertainment and Islam into one entity so that we can enjoy and at the same time know more about Islam. This event is open to all, not just for local students, but also for international students.
On 14 and 15 February, they will open up booths at Foyer 1, Cultural and Arts Centre (CAC). From 10 a.m to 6.30 p.m, students can feast the eyes by looking at things that will be exhibited on each different booth.
If you still have second thought about joining which club, please note that on the night of 15 February, in the Main Hall of CAC, œCultural Night will be held, where each club will demonstrate and introduce itself to the audiences. This is a good opportunity for art fanatics to join CiTRA because at the same time the clubs are recruiting for new members.
