THERE wasnt anything to celebrate when authorities in France confirmed that a piece of metal washed ashore in the Indian Ocean island of La Reunion last week indeed came from the ill-fated Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370, which went missing more than a year ago. It only confirmed our worst fear that the plane had indeed gone down. I do not think we can even come close to feeling what the next of kin and relatives of the unfortunate passengers and crew members on the plane must be feeling now. It is best to allow them the privacy to grief over their immeasurable loss.
