THE Penang Island City Council (MBPP) said cars illegally parked on pedestrian walkways, parking lots for the handicapped and bicycle lanes would face a three-fold increase in penalty. With this, errant motorists in Penang will be slapped with heavier compounds from RM30 to RM100.
