GOMBAK, 12 July 2015: Are you into nasyeed, poetry, graffiti art, or martial arts? If so, then you should not miss the Ilm Arts Festival. The Ilm Arts Festival is an event that gathers some of the leading performers and artists in one roof, in one day.
The performers are Amir Khan (boxer), Nourman Ali Khan (speaker), Peter Sanders (photographer), Altimet (rapper) , Mizz Nina (designer and singer), Kamal Salleh (for spoken words) and many more, all with diverse background and different ways to reach the hearts and souls of the audience.
This event will not solely exhibit the beauty and the richness of Malaysian Islamic Arts but will also highlight the issues that youth of today are facing in this modern age. Furthermore, it is one way to engage the growing number of youth disconnected from society.
Apart from that, the event is also intended to engage the youth through arts and to inspire them to become leaders of their community.
