MY upcoming visit to Malaysia, as ambassador for the United Kingdoms financial and professional services sector, is going be a homecoming for me. Having been born in Johor Baru, I now hold the position as Lord Mayor of the City of London, which means I travel the world extensively looking to build economic partnerships with key international markets; and Malaysia is certainly one of those to the UK.
