THE Industrial Master Plans (IMPs) have been instrumental in guiding the countrys industrialisation programmes. We are now in Industrial Master Plan 3. IMP2 attempted to move the industrial sector away from the lower value assembly manufacturing. Appropriately taglined œManufacturing Plus-Plus, IMP2 should have injected higher value design and branding in manufacturing.
