Mujahid faces second charge

GOMBAK, 13 May 2015: Muhammad Mujahid Mohd Sulaiman, who was found guilty for being one of the speakers during the “Pidato Anwar Ibrahim” entitled œ40 Tahun dari UM ke Penjara last year, is now facing his second charge.

The second charge was for  joining the illegal assembly of œPidato Umum: Jelajah Mahasiswa, Bebas Universiti, Kerajaan Mahasiswa by We Unite For Islam (WUFI) on 7 November 2014.

The case was heard at the Office of Legal Adviser (OLA), IIUM yesterday evening.

The third year student said that he was hoping the hearing will be  conducted smoothly when met outside the Office of Legal Adviser, IIUM.

For the first charge previously, he was found guilty and suspended for one semester.

The former President of WUFI for 2013/2014 session was one of the three activists from IIUM involved in the illegal rally. Together with him, Muna ‘Adila bt. Che Rime, who was found guilty under section 9(3), Student Discipline Regulation indictment for similar accusation, was already sentenced RM200, 40 hours of community services and a stern caveat by the judges.

Still awaiting to be conferred to justice this Friday, 15 May 2015, is ex-President of GAMIS, Abdul Malik Razak.***
