THE horrific accident on the Duta“Ulu Klang Expressway (DUKE) expressway in the dead of night last Saturday took the life of a family of three, which included a 7-month-old baby girl. Travelling in a four-wheel drive vehicle, their Pajero collided with two Perodua MyVi, part of a convoy belonging to the Familia Myvi Club (FMC), that were allegedly racing on the highway. The FMC has denied that their members were racing although a video has gone viral on social media, which purportedly shows several speeding Myvi going past the toll booth, also catching the Pajero on camera as it passed through. An eyewitness who claimed to have seen the accident insists that the Perodua Myvi were indeed racing. Two drivers, one a woman, have been apprehended and released on police bail.
