HAVING been to Nepal recently, my family and I were terribly shocked and saddened by the massive earthquake that hit the country on Saturday, the worst in 80 years, which resulted in the loss of lives and heritage sites, damage to properties and infrastructure, and unimaginable consequences to the booming tourism industry.
