KUALA LUMPUR: Persistent buying in most of the heavyweights throughout the day helped the benchmark FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) to close higher today. At 5pm, the benchmark index rose 14.14 points to end the day at an intra-day high of 1,862.80. It had earlier went as low as 1,850.35 during the day.
