IN his article œMuslim should take pride in Islamic greetings (NST Jan, 28). Dr. Mahmudul Hasan observed that many Malaysian Muslims prefer using Western/English greetings. I hope they are using these greetings properly, for it could be embarrassing especially interacting with foreigners.
