BMW 14 to strengthen brotherhood amongst community

GOMBAK, 15 December 2014:  A programme called Bilal Mahabbah Week 2014 (BMW 14) will be held from 17 until 21 December to spread unity among residents and celebrate the diversity among them as well as to build a strong community.

This is another effort by Mahallah Representative Committee of Bilal (MRC Bilal)  with the theme “The Legacy of Brotherhood”. It is an annual event which will be filled with various programmes. It is open to all Bilals residents.

Among the main event of BMW 14 is ‘Bilal Feeding The Needs’ on 19 December which is aimed to help the homeless around Central Market, Kuala Lumpur. This programme has started with collecting and gathering of donations from students such as clothes, foods, toiletries, and solat kit.

Apart from that, ‘Selamanya Harimau Malaya‘ will held on the first night of this event on 17 December to support our National Football team in AFF Suzuki Cup 2014 (Malaysia VS Thailand) which would be held simultaneously with the opening ceremony.

The events schedule included ‘Bilal Gallery’, a display of all programmes that have been conducted by MRC Bilal throughout the semester. Then there will be ‘Bilal Grand Munajat and Yaasin recitation’ for final examinations. All residents are invited to enliven the night.

Towards the end of closing ceremony, a talk on the ‘Power of Brotherhood in Islam’ will be held on 18 December followed by ‘Bilal MBRC 2014 Sembang Santai’ on the following night. It is a sharing moment programme between the residents and MRC Bilal. Both events will taking place at Bilals Musolla after Maghrib prayers.

The BMW 14 closing ceremony will be held on 21 December, followed by the ‘Bilal Sundate Pic’ where all committee members will be heading to Ulu Yam Waterfall to enjoy the nature.

Not to forget, star points will be given to all those who participated in the programme.***
