KUALA LUMPUR: Bumi Armada Bhd has appointed Chan Chee Beng as executive director and acting chief executive officer effective January 1 2015, replacing Hassan Basma. In a statement , Bumi Armada said Hassan requested for an early release from his employment contract due to family reasons. He is also expected to relinquish his directorships in other companies within the group. œHowever, he will continue to be engaged as a consultant to the company when required and for specific projects .
