Kulliyyah of Engineering (KOE), Â IIUM will conduct its first Nanotechnology Seminar next week.
Organised by the Nanosciences and Nanotechnology Research Group (NANORG), this seminar will be held on 8 December 214 from 8.00 am onwards at the Main Conference Room, Block E1 of the Kulliyyah.
Three speakers are invited for the seminar; Dr. Rezal Khairi Ahmad, the CEO of NanoMalaysia, Mr. Simon Fong, an Application Engineer at the Crest NanoSolutions, and Mr. Jonathan Wu WeiPing, an Engineer from Engineering and Technology Services.
A fee of RM25 for students and RM50 for academicians and researchers will be charged. Information of the event can be accessed via this link.
According to their website, the NANORG was formed with membership from varied specialties of the Kulliyyah. Various applications embarked upon by the group, which include production of nanotubes, preparation of nanocomposite, immobilization of enzymes on nanomaterials for biological applications, nanofluids, synthesis and applications of nanoparticles, and development of nanobiosensors.***
