IN responding to the World Wide Fund for Nature Malaysias (WWF-Malaysia) call for a moratorium on forest clearing in Cameron Highlands, Pahang State Secretary Datuk Seri Muhammad Safian Ismail has been quoted as saying that it was impossible for the authorities to halt forest clearing as it was œbeyond the states jurisdiction.
