The talk was delivered by Assistant Vice President II, Sime Darby Plantation Sdn Bhd., Kamalita Hj. Kamarudin. Indeed, it was an eye opening for most of them who are planning for the industry upon graduation.
Kamalita said quite simply the company wants individuals who are passionate about work and able to thrive in an atmosphere of diversity and high-performance.

Kamalita pointed out the importance of having confidence when attending an interview. She said during the interview most candidates showed good resume’, but they lack communication skills to express clearly when it comes to conversations with the interviewer.
“We want to see your confidence, how you communicate with us. Your CGPA is just to get you into the interview, but to get the job you must have good communication skills,” she said.
