KUALA LUMPUR: Salamander Energy Plc has confirmed it was approached by a consortium led by Spanish oil giant Compania Espanola de Petroleos (CEPSA) and Jho Lows Jynwel Capital for a potential takeover of the United Kingdom-listed oil and gas firm.
