IIUM celebrates over 540 new graduates in KICT and KOS

GOMBAK, 10 December 2025: The eighth session of the 41st IIUM Convocation, witnessed the conferment of 540 graduands from the Kulliyyah of Information and Communication Technology (KICT) and Kulliyyah of Sciences (KOS) at at IIUM Gombak.

The session commenced with the opening declaration of the eighth session by IIUM’s Honourable Rector Professor Emeritus Datuk Dr. Osman Bakar.

The graduands were conferred their degrees: Bachelor of Computer Science (Honours), Bachelor in Information Technology (Honours) and Bachelor of Information Technology (Honours) for the Kulliyyah KICT. Meanwhile, graduands from Kulliyyah of Science, Bachelor of Biotechnology (Honours), Bachelor of Mathematical sciences (Honours), Bachelor of Science (Applied Chemistry) (Honours), Bachelor of Science (Applied Plant Sciences) (Honours), Bachelor of Science (Marine Science and Technology) (Honours) and Bachelor of Science (Physics) (Honours) has been celebrated their degree.

This was followed by the announcement of award winners from the Kulliyyah of Information and Communication Technology and Kulliyyah of Sciences:

Best Student Award Overall: Tengku Zarul Fariman Bin Tengku Zahidi (Bachelor of Computer Science with Honours)

Best Student Award Academic: Hassan Fadwa Ramadan Ali (Bachelor of Computer Science with Honours)

Best Student Award Co-Curricular: Mohamad Aiman Akim Bin Adanan (Bachelor of Information Technology with Honours)

Kulliyyah of Sciences:

Best Student Award Overall: Nur Nadia Arina Binti Md Nazim (Bachelor of Mathematical Sciences with Honours)

Best Student Award Academic: Nurqamarina Binti Mohd Nasir (Bachelor of Mathematical Science with Honours)

Best Student Award Co-Curricular: Muhammad Iman Bin Fauzi (Bachelor of Biotechnology)

The session concluded with the official proclamation by Honourable Rector of IIUM Professor Emeritus Datuk Dr. Osman Bakar, followed by the singing of the IIUM anthem.***
