GOMBAK, 2 November 2025: The KAED Fun Run “Pace Of Thousand Petals”, organised by students from Kulliyyah of Architecture and Enviromental Design (KAED) in collaboration with Disability Services Unit (DSU) IIUM on 26 October 2025, has successfully brought students and staff together in a spirit of unity and inclusivity.
Held at KAED parking lot, this year’s Fin Run emphasised inclusivity and community engagement by collaborating with DSU IIUM. The success of this initiative serves as a benchmark for future activities.
”This run initially was planned as a paid fun run, but upon the advice of my lecturer and advisor, we decided to make it more meaningful event rather than a profit-based and Alhamdulillah it is a remarkable achievement for KAED students” said Iyad, the Programme Manager for KAED Fun Run 2025.
Participants from various background including students with disability came together to celebrate fitness and friendship.
”Some of staff even thanked me at the end of the programme,” shared the Programme Manager. “It may not have been the perfect event but we have done our part for the community and we extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who contributed to the success of the event.”
The KAED Fun Run 2025 stands as a reminder that success is not measured by numbers but by the impact it creates within the community.
