KUANTAN: The first ever International Conference on Industrial Pharmacy (ICIP 2014) will be held on 16 and 17 August in Kuantan, Pahang aimed at bringing together the academia and the industry players to discuss current researches in the industry, especially on eco-friendly topics.
Organised by the Kulliyyah of Pharmacy, International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM Kuantan campus), the conference is expected to address topics on drug discovery and development, pre-clinical and clinical studies, dosage form design, and many more.
Industrial pharmacy is a discipline covering the life cycle of drug products from development, manufacturing, marketing, to distribution, including quality assurance of the products.
