Sonic Run 2025 Marks the Grand Finale of Stufffest

GOMBAK, 1 November 2025: The Student Facilitating Front (STUFF) organised the final Stufffest event, the Sonic Run 2025, on 26 October 2025 at the ICC parking lot, IIUM Gombak.

The three kilometre run involved 170 participants, making it one of the main highlights of Stufffest.

“The idea actually came from our Stufffest theme, which is Arcade Games. Since Sonic, a game character symbolising speed and energy, is one of the most iconic running characters in arcade history, we thought it would be fun and creative to bring that concept into our own event,” said Adrinna Natasya, the Assistant Programme Manager.

Participants enjoyed the vibrant Sonic-themed atmosphere and creative checkpoints where they received Sonic stickers and wristbands. The event focused on enjoyment, teamwork, and celebrating Stufffest’s arcade spirit together.

According to Programme Manager, Muhammad Azim, they faced several challenges in organising the event.

“One of the main challenges we faced was managing operations and communication with external parties. The preparations were quite tedious and required constant adjustments, from registration to the delivery of shirts and medals. Fortunately, these experiences taught us to be more efficient and strengthened our teamwork,” he said.

The Sonic Run 2025 was sponsored by Bubbles 02 and Sunshine Bread, which provided light meals before the run began.***
