IIUM JASA Club promotes leadership and sportsmanship through e-sports

GOMBAK, 18 October 2025: Jalinan Siswa Bersama Masyarakat (JASA) Club has successfully organised an e-sports competition from 10 to 11 October at the Student Lounge and Gamesmy, Kulliyyah of Information and Communication Technology (KICT).

This competition featured two games, which were Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) and eFootball. It aimed to introduce the JASA club members to the IIUM community while promoting leadership, teamwork and digital sportsmanship.

According to the organiser, objectives of this competition were to strengthen student engagement with JASA Club through dynamic and relatable activities, and showcase their gaming talents and strategic thinking. 

This competition attracted enthusiastic participation, with seven teams competing in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB)  and 13 players battling in eFootball. On the other hand, this competition also featured two energetic casters comprising Mohamad Zikrulhakim bin Ab Salam and Muhammad Aiman Haziq bin Razali, who kept the students engaged and the matches exciting.

After intense rounds of gameplay, the winners were announced as follows:

Winners took home cash prizes, with RM250, RM160, and RM120 awarded to the top three Mobile Legends: Bang Bag (MLBB) teams, and RM100, RM80, and RM50 to the top three eFootball players respectively.


This competition was sponsored by Bank Islam, whose support contributed to the success of the tournament.

Overall, the esports competition not only highlighted the JASA Club’s dedication in fostering student involvement and digital engagement but also created an avenue for students to connect, compete, and celebrate shared interests in a positive environment.***
