GOMBAK, 16 December 2024: In the seventh session of the 40th IIUM Convocation Ceremony at IIUM in Gombak on 16 November, a graduate of the Kulliyyah of Nursing, Jezreen Syaza Binti Muhammad Rafi Ravi was Awarded Best Student (Academic) in Bachelor of Nursing (Honours).
Jezreen Syaza Binti Muhammad Rafi Ravi said in an exclusing IIUMToday interview about her journey at the IIUM. She said the university is different from other universities because it is an Islamic university hence even for nursing they needed to learned about hadith and fiqh. It gave her a different learning experience and a unique journey.
Jezreen Syaza thought that nursing examinations was very difficult for her and it was the most challenging during her study. She said, “I think that nursing exam was my struggle because it was hard for me. It is not that hard but if we don’t study it will hard for you.”
“I don’t think that people around was not supportive of my study. Everyone gave me a positive vibe,” she added. Jezreen Syaza also mentioned that her assignment deadlines were her source of motivation during her study.
“Don’t take your study too seriously instead, have fun learning, if not, we will get stressed too much,” some advice from a best student to those who are struggling.
“I was unexpected because it is so sudden but I’m happy finally I have graduates,” she beamed. A beautiful smile came from her when she expressed her feelings at the convocation ceremony.***
