GOMBAK, 11 December 2022: Â IIUM Board of Governor, Tan Sri Wan Zulkiflee Wan Ariffin, said that transformation of knowledge is inevitable and is essential to us at the eighth session of the 38th Convocation Ceremony held at ICC Hall on Wednesday (7 December).
A total of 604 graduands from two kulliyyah which are Kulliyyah of Engineering (KOE) and Kulliyyah of Pharmacy (KOP) received their scrolls in this session.
In his speech, Tan Sri Wan Zulkiflee invited the students to reflect and appreciate their parents, family members, friends, professors, and IIUM committee for their contributions to their achievement.
He highlighted that IIUM takes pride in providing a transformative education framework known as the Sejahtera framework aimed at generating humanistic graduates to fulfill the needs of society.
He further reminded the students that transformation of knowledge is inevitable and dedication to lifelong learning is essential.
œYou must be willing to take a risk, stay humble and learn from the many mistakes that you will be making, he added.
In the session, six graduands received the Kulliyyah Level Awards for both KOE and KOP.

Kulliyyah of Pharmacy (KOP)
- Muhammad Shamsuri bin Hassan
- Muhammad Hafizul Aniq bin Khairul Hafidz
- Nurul Qistina binti Mohd Kamaruzihan
Tan Sri Wan Zulkiflee concluded with the hope that the graduands will always remember to do the right things and give their best in everything they do. ***
