CORENA 2022 is calling for academic research paper submissions

GOMBAK, 8 December 2022: This year’s Communication Research Seminar (CORENA 2022) will feature Strategic Communication Professor from the University of Technology Sydney (UTS), Maureen Taylor, as a keynote speaker.

Bringing “Positioning Media and Communication” as the theme, CORENA 2022 will be held online from 20 December to 21 December 2022 and is now calling for submission of abstracts of academic research.

CORENA 2022 is organised by the Communication and Media Center (COMET), Department of Communication, AbdulHamid AbuSulayman Kulliyyah of Islamic Revealed Knowledge and Human Sciences (AHAS KIRKHS) with its university partners, Prince of Songkla University International College and Universitas Islam Riau.

Those interested to participate should submit their abstract to the organiser by 10 December 2022 to the COMET official email comet@iium.edu.my with the subject – “Abstract for CORENA 2022.”

Upon submission, participants will receive an acceptance notification after the abstract has been reviewed and accepted. 

Selected participants must submit a 10-minute video presentation (horizontal format) to the official email  comet@iium.edu.my alongside proof of payment by 15 December 2022.

Mode of payment to be submitted alongside the 10-minute report presentation by 15 December 2022

The full paper must be submitted by 19 December 2022 to comet@iium.edu.my with the subject – “Full Paper for CORENA 2022.”

A meeting link will be given one week prior to the seminar date and all accepted participants must be present during the online conference to introduce their papers on 20-21 December 2022.***
