S&P may up its ratings on Msia if the growth is strong and fiscal deficit down

KUALA LUMPUR: Standard & Poor’s Ratings Services today affirmed its ‘A-‘ long-term and ‘A-2’ short-term foreign currency sovereign credit rating on Malaysia and indicated that it may raise the ratings if the growth is strong and the fiscal deficit is reduced.
