GOMBAK, 10 December 2022: œI am very delighted your hard work and dedication has led to your success today, said Associate Professor Dr. Aminudin Che Ahmad representing the Kulliyyah of Medicine at the seventh session of IIUM Convocation.
The graduates were presented with awards and appreciations as much as other graduates despite being located far from where they pursued their studies since the session was for students from IIUM Kuantan and Pagoh campus.
In spite of the COVID-19 in previous years, students of Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) still needed to attend most of the laboratory practices physically as part of the field’s requirements.
In addition to that, the 38th convocation ceremony which was initially planned to be held at the end of November was again postponed to December, this year, due to short notice of graduates from IIUM Kuantan since MBBS students’ final exam also finished in the same month.
Meanwhile, the university level awards were also given to the best students at the convocation ceremony in recognition of their hard work and contributions.
