38th IIUM Convocation: 500 graduands receive scrolls in the 4th session

GOMBAK, 5 December 2022: 500 graduates from AbdulHamid AbuSulayman Kulliyyah of Islamic Revealed Knowledge and Human Sciences (AHAS KIRKHS) received their scrolls at the fourth session of the 38th IIUM Convocation Ceremony held at IIUM Cultural Centre (ICC), today.

The morning session was designated to graduates from Fiqh and Usul Al-Fiqh, Qur’an and Sunnah Studies, Usul Al-Din and Comparative Religion, and Arabic Language and Literature Departments.

Meanwhile, graduates from Human Sciences majors received their scrolls in the afternoon session, the same day.

The morning session was officiated by His Excellency Mohammed Al-Sadiq bin Masoud Al-Attiyah, the Ambassador of the state of Libya and member of the IIUM Board of Governors.  

The following were the award recipients in the morning session: 

Special Achievement Award (Academic) – Muhammad Weeldan bin Md Fauzi received the Abdullah ibnu Ummi Maktum

Best Student Award (Overall) – Ainun Nazirah binti Abdul Rahim received the

Best Student Award (Co-curricular) – Batrisha binti Norhamizi.***
